(Blepharoplasty)

blepharoplasty

Drooping eyelid impairs vision. With a procedure to remove excess skin, range of vision is improved.

Drooping and sagging eyelids, whether congenital or resulting from old age, can impair vision and negatively affect a person’s appearance and outlook. Dr. Alexander is skilled in the performance of plastic surgery to correct drooping or sagging eyelids. He will be happy to discuss the procedure with you. Blepharoplasty is typically an elective procedure, unless vision is so profoundly impaired that a person’s ability to function is compromised. Medical necessity is only substantiated through testing.
